ABOUT

Environmental and development economist, Journalist, traveler and photographer

I discovered photography when I was 19, trying to understand the workings of an old Rolleiflex '68, family reminder.

Since then, I have attended several courses in photography, from Officine Fotografiche to Università Popolare of Rome.

In 2008 I met analogue photography and I fell in love with it. The following year I enrolled in a three-year course in photography at the School of Arts and Crafts of the City of Rome "Science eTecnica."

There, I discovered the dexterity on photo printing, the essential enclosed in white and black. So, I met dark room and found my creative habitat.

In the modern era of photography, retouching, special effects, shutter speed, I found my way and I chose both the analog and the digital: spacing frome black and white to colours.

I try to know the neighbor and, before that, to respect it, even putting aside the camera.

I photograph especially people, trying to figure out the emotions but also curious to know its history. And to return it as it is, without too many frills.
